In a dream, I see all of my decades collide, Love had failed and I lost my name, My secrecy keeps a treasure so dear, As the rainwater trickles into barrels, Too many dream haunted hours, Leaves me with seasons without welcome and fading, But when I watch the water fall, Something makes sense in the ripples, Ghosts seem like forever in this land, Where thunderheads twirl like ballerina's turning in faint and sighing grandeur, Across the sky to me.
I am kissed with a gale that makes the cattails shudder, The rain proclaims its love to the earth, Leaving a fleeting touch of lightning, As all of nature fondly dance outside an open window, My eyelashes weaken with a weight that is sweet and fine, Tell me why world, Is the beauty of everything so unfathomable and good, So infinite and cruel?
